The forecast for the last day of our festival was not good. However, when I woke up this morning and checked the weather, the forecast was for either partly cloudy or sunny throughout the entire day except for 6:00 p.m. when they predicted scattered showers and 11:00 p.m. for the first thunderstorm. Well, 6:00 p.m. came and went and not a drop of water in the sky. The weather held for us all day.
It didn’t make up for four days of bad weather but it was a wonderful feeling for the last day. The food vendors were very happy because they were able to cater to crowds instead of just a few people. Yesterday I said I felt like giving up. Today? I’m feeling much better.
Thank you, Lord, for the reprieve from the storms!
