I went to EPCOT today. I was greeted immediately by a couple of characters that are rarely seen in the park:
My first stop was in Canada.
My first ride was Journey Into Imagination. After I got off, there was a character greeting with another that I haven’t seen in ages!
After Imagination, I went to the front of EPCOT to ride Spaceship Earth. Please excuse the shaky film. I grabbed it from my cell phone.
I took this as I was on my way back to Canada for lunch.
And it was thus that I enjoyed lunch at one of my favorite places in EPCOT.
The lighting didn’t do the meal justice. It was a perfectly rare ribeye accompanied by their mushroom risotto. Yum.
After lunch, I made my way back to the resort because it was getting dark and foreboding.
We’ve already had a thunderstorm and are presently under a tornado warning. The weather is really dicey. So, I’m staying in for the evening.
Tomorrow is another day. A friend is picking me up at 9:00 a.m. and we are going to Gatorland. I’ll have pictures tomorrow. 🙂
