Msgr. Richard F. Zollinger — pictured above next to St. Mary’s DRE at the time, who was also a professional clown — was many things to me. He was the associate pastor and pastor of my youth, my vocation director, my spiritual director, and my friend.
“Fr. Z”, as he was known by so many, passed away this morning in a facility outside of Ft. Wayne. I ask you to keep the repose of his soul in your prayers, please, as well as pray for consolation for his family, friends, and brother priests.
