We were in Malaga, Spain today. There was no bus service because of a national strike so we hoofed it or took taxis. I walked an hour and a half or so and my feet are lecturing me as I type this. Good thing I don’t type with my toes. I think they would be on strike as well.
Proof that I went in to Malaga:
The Oasis of the Seas is a HUGE ship. None of these pictures really do it justice.
We are leaving Malaga an hour and a half late because of a medical emergency. I don’t know the whole story. All I know that it’s the end of someone’s transatlantic cruise. If someone has a medical emergency and has to be taken off of the ship earlier, they can always catch up at the next port. Malaga IS our last port. We now begin eight sea days with our next port being Nassau, Bahamas. I just hope that the passenger will be all right.
Tonight we pass through a time zone and receive an extra hour’s sleep. I’m all for extra hours of sleep. 🙂
Well, it’s midafternoon back home but it’s evening here and all the walking I did in the fresh air is making me sleepy. Oh, speaking of fresh air, a shout-out to our gracious God. The possibility of rain was in the forecast today but it remained dry. Sunny most of the day as well when they called for clouds. It was cool but that made the walking that much easier. As we were pulling out of port, we could see lightning ahead of us. Thunderstorms are in our future tonight. But the day was dry. Thank you, Lord!
g’night, all
