I boarded Utopia of the Seas at 10:15 a.m. today. The registration process was super fast! When I got to the promenade, I saw “the car”. All of Royal’s larger ships of cars in their main promenade.

When they announced that the rooms were ready, I went up to my room using Royal’s newer “destination elevators. You press the floor you want and it tells you what elevator (A – F) to use. No buttons inside the elevator. Just board and zoom to the prearranged floor(s).

My room . . . wow . . . what can I say? It’s really beautiful as cruise ship rooms go.
The bed is the first part of the room (after the bathroom, that is.)

The sitting area has a sofa that can convert into beds. Yes, two. An upper and a lower pullout. I wouldn’t think it would be very comfortable but for kids, perhaps, it would be okay.

The work area is really spacious.

The balcony. Ahhhh, the balcony. It is an extra larger balcony and I plan on spending a lot of time on it. 🙂

After dinner tonight, I went to the ice skating show. Here is a YouTube video of the show that I found on line::
Tomorrow morning we port in Nassau. Wednesday is a Sea Day. Thursday is Coco Cay, and Friday is our return to Port Canaveral and reality. 🙂
More tomorrow.
g’night
