Utopia Of The Seas – Day Three – Sea Day

I woke up this morning to a beautiful sky!

I went upstairs for breakfast in the Windjammer and then came back down for an little over an hour’s conference video for the diocesan finance committee.  I think they were surprised that I zoomed in for the meeting but a commitment is a commitment I’ve always said. 🙂

After the meeting, I went down to the promenade to get a glass of pop and visit around a little bit with crew.  When I came back, I saw that my cabin attendant had come and gone, just like a ninja.  Thought for the day, “you’re no bunny till some bunny loves you.”

I went back out to my balcony to enjoy the ocean for the sea day.  I could hear music from the decks above but I wanted to spend some time alone with God.  I did a fair amount of griping to Him about how my life has been lately.  You know, sick for Holy Week and the like.  He said, “quitcherbellyaching and look at what I’ve done for you today.”

You know, He’s right.  Of course He’s right.  After all, He’s God.  There are just some times I don’t listen to Him.  I was so grateful for the morning talk with Him and I decided that I wanted to spend more quality time alone with Him.  So, for lunch, I went up to Deck 15 outside the Windjammer to the food truck and got myself lunch to go.

As I ate, I read a little bit and then got back to my conversation.  He said pretty much what He said earlier in the day and reminded me that He’s got everything in His hands.

Well, folks, except for a couple of trips down to Deck 5 for more pop, I pretty much stayed on the balcony (except for a brief afternoon nap) and enjoyed my time with Him.

After dinner, I came back to my room for the final showcase of His splendor.  Believe me, these pictures cannot do justice to what I saw with my own eyes.

After watching God’s show, it was time for my scheduled evening show at the Aquatheater.  I found a video of it on YouTube in case you want to watch some spectacular performances.

Tomorrow, we are due to arrive at Coco Cay at 7:00 a.m. for a day on Royal Caribbean’s private island.  After dinner, it will be time to pack and set my suitcase outside my room door before going to bed so that the bags can be collected and offloaded Friday morning.  By 9:00 a.m., I should be on a bus headed to Orlando International Airport.  I have an afternoon flight so will not be back home until Friday evening.

Well, I’m bushed after a day of fresh air on the balcony and intense conversation with you-know-who.

g’night, all
