We came in to Nassau port right on time this morning. Here are some pics of the place.

Before I went to town, I checked in with Future Cruises and decided to put money down on a future cruise. The nice thing about it is that I can wait until the 2029 bookings come out and apply my credit to one. I will only end up paying the deposit that I put down today, $200, rather than whatever the deposit would have been for that cruise. I’ll also get a little on board credit. It’s a little bit of a win.
I went into town as I usually do although nowadays, I use taxi service. I used to walk to my special place but it is a bit of a haul up hill for my cranky knees to take. The special place? Mortimer’s Candy Kitchen. They are a candy store that makes their own candy and sells it packaged. I go for two reasons: to support the local people’s business and to get treats for my cabin attendant and table waiters. They were very excited to get their stash today. 🙂
After treating my table waiters, I ended up making them work extra this evening. My full glass of Diet Coke slipped out of my hands as I was setting it down and doused both me and the table. They were very quick in cleaning things up and making me feel better.
After dinner, I came up to my room to watch a sunset. I had decided not to go to the show tonight because it is at 9:30 p.m. and, quite frankly, that’s too late for me. I’ll be in bed by then.
So, here’s God’s show for you:

Tomorrow’s a sea day. Woo hoo. I love sea days.
g’night
