Lots To Do

I had a lot to do today.  Office work.  Busy work.  Preparatory work.

I queued up daily reflections for next week.  (I usually post them a week at a time and just set them to release at the appropriate day at 6:00 a.m.)

I did that before the morning Mass.

After the morning Mass, I set to work on tomorrow’s Pastoral Council & Stewardship Commission mini-retreat.  I’m basing the presentations and questions from each presentation from The Earthsea Trilogy by Ursula K. LeGuin, a magnificent fantasy writer.  I hope the council and stewardship people like the selections I am sharing.

After that, I ran some errands, got a haircut (at Great Clips in Munster), and then went to lunch.  It was a “gift card lunch”.  I grabbed one of the cards that had been given to me to El Salto in Munster.  I really like their food.  They have some great luncheon specials and, compared to the other local Mexican restaurants, I like their salsa the best.  The others are too spicy for me.

After lunch, it was back to the office for a couple of hours, meeting with people and finishing more paperwork.  Tomorrow awaits.
