It felt so strange waking up this morning and not going in to the parish to celebrate Mass and start the day there. Instead, I started my retirement. But, I kept busy. 🙂
I made the rounds of my doctors’ offices, supplying my new insurance card and the information for my new mail in pharmacy and requesting that they transmit my prescriptions to the new pharmacy.
I also had an appointment with one of my doctors to have my eye pressure checked. Actually came down from the last appointment so he was very happy and, therefore, so am I. My next appointment with him at the beginning of November is my “big check”: scans, dilation, et cetera.
If you have to be outside these days, hydrate and protect yourself as much as possible from the heat.
