Today was supposedly my day off. However, I spent four and a half hours this afternoon in Merrillville at a clergy conference. We all gathered to discuss Pope Francis’ mandate for all dioceses around the world to engage in a synod. We looked at the fruits of our 2017 synod so at least we won’t have to go through a long, involved process.
I’ve been running ragged lately. I’m thinking of catching up on my day off by taking tomorrow if my calendar remains light. Crossed fingers…
