I went to the cardiologist today and he took off the steri-strips from the surgical site. He likes how it looks. No infection noted, no hematomas present. He’s happy. I have a follow-up with him in three months.
The pacemaker department hooked up into the new unit and did some tweaking of its programming. In doing so, they bought me a projected additional two years to the life of the unit. At this point in time, it’s showing that I have seven years left.
After my appointment, I went to Community Hospital’s COVID clinic and received my second booster shot. So now, I’m up to date on those as well. Happy times.
