This morning, I caught the shuttle bus from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral and queued up to board the Independence of the Seas. There were a LOT of people in lines but they moved the lines really efficiently and from getting off the bus to boarding the ship it only took a little over ten minutes. I was VERY impressed with how Royal Caribbean has streamlined the boarding process. Kudos, Royal!
Tomorrow, we arrive at Royal Caribbean’s private island, Coco Cay. I will be getting pictures inside and out of the ship tomorrow and posting them on my Facebook page. This ship is a real beauty.

That’s about all for tonight. I’m really pooped. The excitement, the sun, and the warmth have taken their toll on my as has the rocking of the ship. The first day/night is always the most rocking as the ship moves through the sea. It’s like I’m a little kid again being rocked to sleep. Can barely keep my eyes open!
