I was so excited last night because yesterday was my day off. Even though I didn’t really get much of one, today was the perk part of the day off. You see, my “day off” is technically from noon Wednesday to noon Thursday. I don’t have either morning Mass on Thursday so I get a chance to sleep in.
Now, my friends who know me well know that “sleep in” is a phrase in a dictionary but nothing that I generally do. For me, sleeping in means getting up at 6:00 a.m. instead of 4:30 a.m. 🙂
Hence, I went to bed last night excited about being able to sleep in but, you guessed it, I was up at the crack of dawn anyway today. Therefore, I did my daily video and posted it online and then wasted some time watching YouTube videos.
I had a Personnel Board meeting at the Pastoral Center this afternoon and then came home to do a Wake Service for tomorrow morning’s funeral Mass. Tomorrow’s going to be a bit busy so I’m going to try to get some sleep.
