I can’t believe it. This weekend is the beginning of Holy Week and we started by celebrating Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. The biggest thing I could say? Numbers!
As the pandemic seems to be loosening its hold (though, I know, it is still out there in many places in the world), people are beginning to resume some sort of normalcy in their lives and that includes going to church. Maybe because Easter is fast approaching, people decided they’d better get to church.
We had so many people this weekend that we ran out of palms by the Noon Mass and also ran out of bulletins for the people to take home. If that’s a signal of what Easter Sunday is going to look like, I’m excited! (And we also ordered additional bulletins to be printed for Easter weekend!)
