I had the early Masses this morning and then finished up my portion of the bulletin for July 17. I am leaving that week for a private retreat at St. Meinrad Archabbey Guesthouse in St. Meinrad, IN. For many people, the next couple of days will be fireworks central. They will be enjoying setting fireworks off and the hospitals will be busy treating people who were not cautious and who will injure themselves, some seriously. If you are going to celebrate the holiday with fireworks, PLEASE be careful!
