The summer is really moving right along. Our annual summer Music and Food Fest is already a couple of weeks past and next week our Vacation Bible School will be in session. Our school building is well underway with improvement projects and the school year is looming closer and closer.
When I was young, none of this fazed me because it seemed like every day, every week, and every summer was long, long, long and lazy, lazy, lazy. As I got older, the days, weeks, and seasons fly by and I’m frantically trying to keep up.
I think, maybe, I should start putting my Christmas decorations up. By the time I finish, it will either be here or it will be over already and people will be decorating for Valentine’s Day or St. Patrick’s Day.
Slow down, time. Slow down. This old man is getting dizzy. 🙂
