Coming back from retreats or vacations consists of the same thing: getting back to work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
This morning, I had the 8:30 a.m. Mass and then went through my mail and my emails from the week. I took care of some of the items and some I organized a plan of attack on for the next few days. I will be busy, that’s for sure.
I also picked up a funeral and lost a funeral. Apparently, someone wanted a funeral at the same time that another was scheduled so they are looking somewhere else. I hope they find what they need.
I slept really well last night and look forward to another good night’s sleep. I don’t have to wake up early because I have the later two Masses tomorrow, the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon.
I’m thinking that, by the time the Noon Mass is finished, I will be done for the day. As I get older, it gets harder to jump in running. 🙂
