Yeah. Uh huh. Mold, high. Weeds, medium. Me? Extremely uncomfortable.
My doctor started me on a new medication Wednesday: Symbicort. When she transmitted the prescription to Walgreens, I got a text that there was a “problem” with the order. I thought, “Here we go again. Insurance company is going to be whining.”
As it turns out, when the med still wasn’t filled yesterday, I went online to my account and found out the reason: zero inventory. “Supply chain issues” some would say. The med just got in today and I picked it up about 4:30 p.m. I’ll start my first dose this evening. I’m hoping that it helps my allergies.
I’m really hoping because if it doesn’t, it’s a hell of a lot to pay for nothing. The sticker shock of meds these days is unreal!
