The day began early for me as I had to open the church and set up for the 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. Masses. After the Noon Mass, I went back over, locked and alarmed the church, and came back to the house for my number one priority: rest. The past couple of days were travel days there and back for a wedding in Lafayette and, getting older, I don’t travel as well any more. 🙂
So, the restful afternoon was most appreciated.
Of course, at this point, I’m beginning to fret about the festival because they are predicting the possibility of rain/storms Saturday and Sunday. It’s still early enough, however, that everything can change. The best we can do is trust and accept whatever comes our way.
