Made It Through The Day

Today was relatively busy and on a bit of fatigue from my travel home.  I had the morning Mass followed by a Stewardship Commission meeting.

After the meeting, I caught up on a few other items that were awaiting me when I got home from vacation.  I also finished work on the Pastor’s Column and bulletin cover for the weekend of November 24th.

In the afternoon, I heard confessions and then had the evening Mass.  Now, I’m ready to call it an early night because I will be waking up shortly after 4:00 a.m. to wash, dress, and head over to the church to open up for the morning Masses.  I am the celebrant for the 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. Masses and people come to church around 4:45 a.m. to pray before the 6:30 a.m. Mass.  Really.  I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it with my own eyes.

Tomorrow afternoon, I’m meeting some friends at a restaurant in Schererville for a combined birthday celebration.  It will be fun getting together.

Well, enough for now.  Off to lullaby land.

g’night
