Well, as of today, the gang’s all here. Kyle and I arrived yesterday (actually, Kyle got in the evening before and stayed at a friend’s house) and Fr. Brian arrived this afternoon.
Before Fr. Brian got here, I went out exploring the Skyliner system. I rode it from EPCOT to Hollywood Studios. At the Studios, I walked through Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land.
The sheriff welcomes the new “toys” into Toy Story Land
This is at a character meet-and-greet. She looked great!
When in Batoo, drink what the locals drink: Bantha milk, also known as “blue milk”. Get the “adult” version. The rum makes it SO tasty.
This evening, we went to Disney Springs and had dinner at Raglan Road. I asked the waitress for her opinion and she steered me to the Gnocchi Sea, Gnocchi Do (potato gnocchi, scallops, pork belly, tomato, and kale in a cream sauce. ) YUM!
We came back from Disney Springs just a little bit ago and I retired to my room to blog and then rest. I got a lot of walking in today as well as a lot of fresh air and sun and I am tired. I’m going to go to bed and not set the alarm. But first, some senseless television watching (or, maybe, I’ll sit out on my balcony for a while until it gets too cool to sit out there.)
Either way, see you tomorrow…
