Are you tired of being “locked up?” A lot of people are.
Is there a reason for social distancing? Yes, there is.
But, are you tired of being “locked up?” Apparently more are than we first thought.
Now, stay-at-home orders are being slugged out in court. I see that a court overturned Governor Pritzker’s stay-at-home extension that was to take place from May 1st through the month of May. Pritzker, of course, is going to court to fight the overturn.
I’m just worried that people are going to be treated like pawns in legal battles now. I just hope no one gets hurt or, worse, dies because of people going out too soon.
I know that it is a fine balance and that we need to get jobs up and running again as soon as possible. It’s the “possible” part that worries me, that’s all. I don’t want people to be put in jeopardy because we open everything up too soon. That being said, I cannot wait until a complete lifting of restrictions so that I can see my people back in the pews at Masses.
