Today is the Patronal Feast of the Diocese of Gary, dedicated to the Holy Angels. Isn’t it wonderful how God makes an angel for each and every one of us, to watch over us, to guard us, and to guide us?
I remember that the Guardian Angel Prayer was one of the first prayers that I learned in grade school. It ranked right up there with the Our Father and the Hail Mary and the good sisters encouraged us to pray that prayer every day. I have never forgotten it.
Try not to make your angel work overtime. 🙂
