Today was prep time as I anticipate leaving for vacation next Wednesday. I’ll be picked up after the 8:30 a.m. Mass for my flight that afternoon to Rome. I will arrive in Rome the following day in the morning and transfer to Civitavecchia for an overnight in a hotel in that port city and then board the ship next Friday.
This morning, I had to do the Lector paperwork for the next four Sundays so that everything is set and ready to go for them. I’ve also worked ahead for Pastor’s columns and bulletin covers and they are ready for our bulletin to insert into the appropriate weekends. Tomorrow, I will begin setting things aside to pack. I will actually pack on Tuesday morning so that all I have to do Wednesday is wait for the driver to pick up me.
