Today, we found ourselves at anchor outside New York

The only problem with being at anchor was that the wind was making the ship sway one way and then the other. I would think that was a nuisance, at least, and a hazard, at most, for other ships passing.
So, around 1:30 p.m., the captain ordered the anchor up and we made our way to our berth at the dock at Port Liberty.

We will reman here throughout the remainder of the day until we are allowed to disembark tomorrow.
I’ve just come back from dinner and now it’s time to pack my bags and hit the sack so that I can be ready tomorrow morning for the return home.
g’night
