Tonight was the first day of the Triduum. We celebrated the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7:00 p.m. At the Mass, I washed the feet of twelve “apostles”, people involved in different ministries in the parish.
This morning, I was at Holy Angels Cathedral for the Chrism Mass.
Tomorrow afternoon is the Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion. Afterwards, we will have a rehearsal for Tenebrae and then, at 7:00 p.m., the Tenebrae Prayer Service.
Saturday at 2:00 p.m. I will bless Easter Baskets and then, at 8:00 p.m., celebrate the Vigil Mass of Easter.
It’s going to be a busy weekend. I’m hitting the sack. g’night
