I had three Masses this morning: the 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. at the parish and the 10:00 a.m. at the Carmelite Shrine. I got back to the parish at 11:15 a.m. and at 11:45 a.m., Fr. Brian arrived to pick me up. He drove us downstate to St. Meinrad Archabbey Guesthouse.
The weather was overcast — which is great driving — until before Terre Haute. After that point, it began to rain. Hard. I mean, really hard. Between construction and downpours, we traveled slower than usual for some time. However, we made it to the Guesthouse in one piece.
After we checked in, we turned around and went to Ferdinand for dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. We then came back to the Guesthouse.
When we arrived, I finished unpacking and then I thought I would fire up my laptop and see what kind of internet connection I would get. Wow. Superior compared to before. They must’ve done some serious upgrading!
I’ll be able to upload my daily videos. They might not be done as early as I do them as I don’t plan on setting my alarm. However, I will be able to post.
I’m going to read and rest. g’night
