From sun up
To sun down
Today was spectacularly gorgeous!
The Noon Sky:
Captain’s Noon Report
No real change from his past reports. We’re still heading to Bermuda for passenger evacuation by boat and then then down to Nassau.
The change is with Nassau. Even though he told us yesterday that we might even get there early he said there may be a delay getting into Nassau.
I’ve been watching reports of ships changing ports because of weather/winds in Nassau. The captain said winds will pick up as we get nearer and we may have to wait for conditions to improve.
That’s the way it is with cruising. It’s a totally fluid proposition (pun intended).
I was scheduled to see the musical Cats in the theater but I couldn’t unglue myself from my balcony. I have a bit of a sunburn tonight to prove it. 🙂 The afternoon skies were breathtaking. If I could be assured that reproductions are as good as the original screen pictures, I would have some of my cloud pictures printed. They were just stunning!
Tomorrow is our second-to-last sea day and conditions are supposed to be favorable. I look forward to seeing what God gives to us then.
Tonight, I relish in yet another extra hour of sleep. We actually didn’t observe the end of daylight saving time last night, so this one will catch us up to that. There will still be one more night of an extra hour’s sleep before the end of the cruise.
g’night, all
