Polaris on United Airlines was the way to go!
When I arrived in Barcelona, I was tired, yes, but not the extreme fatigue that I’ve had on other eight hour flights. Being in first class with adjustable seats that would even lie flat, I had the chance to stretch and relax.
When I arrived at the airport, I was one of the first off of the plane and we were one of the first planes arriving at the airport. That being said, it only took about forty minutes to clear through immigration/customs and move on to bag check.
While in the immigration queue, I received a message from the person who was picking me up from Transfeero. He wanted me to know that he was on site and told me to let him know when I cleared customs. He would then come in from the parking garage.
I informed him when I got to luggage claim, found my luggage, went out into the exit area, and met up with him. He escorted me to the car and we made our way to the hotel.
I went to a late lunch/early dinner (around 4:00 p.m.) and then came back to the room to rest. I’m going to go to bed around 8:00 p.m. and see what kind of sleep I get. Wish me luck.
