Today we spent the day in Portland, Maine. It was a cool and rather drizzly day but there were plenty of things to do.
I was scheduled to take a shore excursion to Kennebunkport but decided to stay behind. I didn’t want the hour drive there and hour drive back just for an hour in the area. Instead, I walked Portland. The port is very walkable, unlike many cruise ports that are in industrial areas and you need transportation into town. In Portland, you disembark the ship and -are- in town.
The skies sailing away from Portland pretty much told the story of most of the day. 🙂

Coming back from the show, I had a notice in my key slot reminding me that we lose an hour sleep tonight due to sailing into a different time zone. Well, tomorrow is a sea day so there’s nothing to wake early for anyway.
That being said, I’m missing an hour sleep so I’ll end this now and hit the sack.
