They call St. Thomas More a Man for All Seasons and I think being at a parish named after him is extremely appropriate at this point in time because we have had all seasons within this past week!
Yesterday, it had become so nice and the sun was so warm that our house heated up to 79 degrees inside. It was a bit stuffy so we turned on the air conditioner. (I have seasonal allergies really bad and didn’t want to open windows.) The house cooled down nicely.
Then, in the middle of the night, the weather outside plunged to the low thirties and the house got cold and damp. When I woke up in the middle of the night shivering, the house was 62 degrees. So, I went around the house turning all the thermostats back to heat.
From the look of the forecast for the next week, it’s going to be warm, cold, damp, and dry depending not only upon the day but upon the hour of the day. This weather roller coaster will get me sick long before the darn virus does!
