Horrendous Might Not Be The Word. However…

I want to say that this has been a horrendous day.  If I say that, though, I know that would be untrue and a product of anxiety more than reality.  Today was a bad day.  Today was a yucky day.  However, “horrendous” might be too harsh a word.

I was busy all day.  I started with morning Mass followed by a funeral Mass.  From there, I went to Lowell for a deanery meeting and came back to do the minutes for the meeting while it was still fresh in my mind.  Yes, I have notes since I am also the secretary of the meeting and like to send the minutes the same afternoon for the benefit of those who could not attend.  And while I have notes, no, I cannot always read my handwriting later.  🙂

After I had the minutes prepared, I had to scoot away from the parish for another meeting.  In the process, I had to cancel a meeting at 5:00 p.m. as I would not be back home in time.

By the time I got home, I was pooped and sore.  You see, on top of everything else, this was a sinus/arthritis/allergy day from hell.  Never but when it rains, it pours, eh?

I’m hoping that tomorrow is better.  It has to be.  It can’t get much worse.

or can it?
