This morning started out like this:

And by 5:00 p.m., we were pretty much back to this:
But the clouds were really delightful!
And a bit eerie.
The best part was that, even though it rained on and off most of the day (and even, for a while, closed off certain venues of the ship up top because of the rain), the waters stayed relatively calm, considering the rain and winds. Yes, there were whitecaps. There still are as I type this. But they were and are not ten or twenty foot waves and the ship is moving through with nary a problem.
At 4:10 p.m., I did my check in via my airline app so I am ready for tomorrow afternoon.
We disembark the ship beginning at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow (or whenever customs clears the ship. I have to check in at 7:45 a.m. for my shuttle to Orlando Airport. Since my flight doesn’t leave until 3:10 p.m., I will have a few hours to sit in the main part of the airport before moving to the terminals. You are only allowed access three hours pre-flight.
I’ve booked a couple of cruises on board and have a number of cruises coming up. I’m really hitting this thing called retirement hard and enjoying it while I can. 🙂

I’m going to hit the sack early because I have an early rise tomorrow in order to get off the ship. Good thing we get our last extra hour of sleep tonight.
