I apologized to the cabin attendants on my side of Deck 12 this afternoon as they were chatting in the hallway. One of them asked why I was apologizing. I told them that while there were working so hard, I was relaxing so hard and I felt guilty. They laughed and said that they were happy that I was enjoying the cruise. I think they also appreciated that someone acknowledged their hard work.
I went to a couple of “shows” this morning. One is a husband and wife who recreate presidents an d their wives. Today was Abraham Lincoln and his wife. Very good show!
Following that presentation was the continuation of the life of Don Knotts by his nephew, Bill Knotts. We’ve learned a lot about Don and about the Andy Griffith Show. Fascinating material.
After lunch, I came back to my balcony and relaxed, relaxed, relaxed.
After dinner, I went to the production show “In Concert”. The Harmony of the Seas singers and orchestra took us through songs of the 70’s and 80’s. Very powerful production.
After the show, I came back to my room to do this blog entry and to get ready for bed. Please, God, not another night of an extra hour of sleep — said no one ever! 🙂
Yep, you guessed it, we have another extra hour of sleep tonight as we set the ship’s clock back yet again tonight. This is our third night in a row. Tomorrow, we will not touch our clocks but then the last three nights in a row we move back one hour per night until arrival at Port Canaveral.
My bonus is that, when I arrive back home in Munster, I set my clock back an hour as Port Canaveral is on Eastern time and Munster is Central time. I can dig it.
