2026 Transatlantic Cruise – Day Ten

Today began as usual.  Early rise.  Morning video.  Breakfast.  Checking emails.  Mass.

After Mass, I decided that I was going to go to one of the lounges and chill while reading from my Kindle so that’s what I did.  That pretty much brought me up to lunch.

I had a small lunch because I wanted to be ready for dinner: Caribbean night.  I know I’m going to pay for it later tonight as the spices are still speaking to me but it was worth it.  So far.  🙂

I think I told you a couple of days ago that we had an Alpha Alpha Alpha situation.  That is the ship-wide call for a medical emergency.  We haven’t heard anything more about that . . . until today.  I’m assuming it’s related to the other day as after the alpha the ship changed course slightly and sped up a bit.  Today at the Noon report, the captain told us that we were heading to Bermuda for a morning arrival tomorrow.  There, outside the port, the ship will meet a medical vessel and someone will be offloaded because of their medical need.  The same thing happened a couple of years ago.  The captain also told us that this would not delay us from our arrival time at Port Canaveral Saturday morning.  I’m praying for whomever is in need.

Dinner was very good.  I had pork bao buns and coconut shrimp for appetizers and the garlic tiger shrimp for the entree.  Hence the heartburn. 😮

Tomorrow, I’m dining in the main dining room but ordering one of the specialty dinners from Chops Grille: the filet mignon.  It’s a long story.  I’ll share it when I get home.

The evening ice show was magnificent.

Below is a link to the show that I found on YouTube.  Such energy!

Tomorrow is Day Eleven.  Lots of time yet before leaving Saturday morning.

More tomorrow. g’night
